At the folks over here, eventually come to sensible fish-keeping practices. The folks over there, ignore what is the right thing to do. It's like talking to my dog.
"Right thing to do"? I could say the exact same thing about your "Mbu fact page", which is full of misinformation, but what good purpose does that serve? Do you truly believe that every person on another forum is doing everything absolutely wrong?

I totally disagree with you E78704 based on my years of fish-slavery..my fish have always prefered a large tank where they could be fishes rather than be a performing dolpin in a small tank..

Mr e7.. i can say you have shown differently on an mbu. Ill leave that one with that. But nonethe less bigger is better. You are entitled to opinion on opinions but those opinions are just opinions and need not to be talked down to as if your opinion is any more valid. Mfk are majorily in a different light when it comes to water parameters and our disagreements are rightfully expressed. I know you are a part of mfk and see your defense but obviously theirs a much older disagreement with pps methods and theirs. I have seen pps post on that forum and other forums so obviously pp is knowledgeable and shares that knowledge normally but something happened and have no reason to believe shes just spiteful. Their loss.

To whom it concerns the statement regarding PP is located on the 2nd page on the 6th post down. And my name only has one "e" thank you. ;)

Apologies for the typo.

"Is it worth throwing the baby out with the bath water?" is the point I was getting at.

Are there ill-informed people on MFK? Sure. Just like there are ill-informed people here, too. Are there fish keepers doing great thing on this forum? Yes, just like there are people doing great things on the other forum. There's a guy over there who has his Mbu puffer in something like a 15,000G basement tank and it looks awesome. I'm not saying one forum is better than another, because taking that approach benefits nobody. Instead, why don't you pick and choose what you want to in terms of info and just ignore the rest? That's all I'm trying to say. If someone is hoping to find or to create an internet forum that has "every answer", that ain't gonna' happen.

Troll alert!

I for one have left many sites because of poor attention to the needs of the fish coupled with a lack of control of trolls. I do not participate in sites where trolls are permitted without being controlled. That even applied here for a time.

I for one am ready to withdraw again if troll attacks, even on the owner and operator of this site continue without correction.

Enough is enough!. Don't bother tilting at windmills, kick the jerk off. Then we can discuss fish care again and not personal attacks.

Yes let's leave it there! We are here for the Best of our fish, to take knowledge from keepers with many tank decades of experience, not to argue amongst ourselves. Oh and "fish slavery" lmao at that.
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly
