Re: Neglected Fahaka!!!!
They bite through bags with ease so that's out, I learnt that the hard way. Yea a plastic container but make sure he cannot see out of it
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly
Re: Neglected Fahaka!!!!
Bertie; I am very nervous about moving my puff to another tank as i have never moved a big guy like this lol-How would be the best way to move him without him puffing?? I am going to store to see if i can get some kind of clear plastic container with a top on it.And plane on moving at night time or would it be better in daylight??- just have never done it for this size puffer. He is about 4-5-inches now and was 2-when i got him, man has he grown but i want him in his final tank.[180] and 'Survivor' will go into his 125-for awile. Thanks for all your help Bertie; going to feed 'Survivor' right now will update when i get back. river-7

Yea put him in a large container then place that into a large bag so he cannot see out. If he chooses to puff then there's nowt you can do about it other than make sure he doesn't take in air.

Re: Neglected Fahaka!!!!
Bring a bucket with a lid. Fill enough to cover him about 2", with tank water. Scoop him up with a container he fits into, at least the length of him, & place it into the bucket.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Thanks PP; i will try my best to move him as he is in the tank for 'Survivor', just never moved a big guy like him and it makes me nervous lol. I don't want him puffing or taking a bite out of my fingers. He's pretty good about me doing tank work ect; He don;t like it but he puts up with me in and about and stays in his little hole. Then i give him a snail or 2-for being a good boy. Oh well wish me luck all. Will update when i get the courage up to move him. I have everthing st out so i am getting there just need the courage now.river
