MBU is my favorite FW puffer and Porcupine Puffer is my favorite SW Puffer (although Dogfaces are very cute).

I like the MBU as it has really beautiful markings and when they look back at you it really seams like they know what's going on.

I like Porcupines as they are so full of life and are very interactive.

T.mbu is may favorite, but i will never keep another. I no longer consider them suitable for most homes.

Other than that, I suppose it would have to be F-8s. They are easy, non-demanding as any puffer, highly active, and hardy once established, long-lives, active, and "cute". Did I mention that they are easy? They are owner-resonsive and although small can still differentiate between their keeper and other folks.

For SW I would probably pick a dogface. They too are cute, having one of the best faces in the family, easy to care for, relatively easy-going, owner responsivbe, and oddball enough to be irresistible to me. Another real pet fish.

Porcupine Puffer or Green Spotted Puffer I think :D. As luck would have it, my work area will be relocated to the ground floor, which means I should be able to get me a nice 200 or so gallons of aquarium. Considering a porcy for that :D.

Mbu, though it's the only puffer I have kept for any length of time. Ours is a member of the family by now. Personality is tough to beat.

That's a tough question. I don't think I will be able to pick one. I think my favorite SW puffer is one that isn't really a puffer: a striped burrfish. I will never be able to keep one, but I dream about one anyway.

When it comes to FW, I think my favorite may be monotrete turgidus. Not pretty, but a wonderful personality. I wouldn't be without one.
