I visit either shoreham or newhaven. Down near the sea it's easy farther up you get more crap in your nets and less shrimp. I also go to the rock pools in ovingdean and can get 100-300 live prawns in an hour or two
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

Many "FW" shrimp have SW offspring. Amano shrimp are a prime example. Almost all of the Macrobrachium family are SW planktonic eggs and early stages of growth - the Red-claw is the only species I know which can reproduce in FW. Many coastal area FW shrimp adult start life in the oceans or bays in brackish to marine conditions.
