i got 2 figure 8 puffers yesterday.ive noticed chasing and occasional nipping.since tho the victim has had a go back at the bully.since then theres a little chasing but not as bad.is this normal? should i be worried or take back the bully? or do i let them sort there differences?? have you had this happen and what did you do?
is it early days to be judging them?
sorry for all the questions.ive just wanted them for a long time and now there here i dont want anything to go wrong although i know thats not in my hands

How complex is the decor in there? Are there lots of broken lines of sight? There is always a pecking order in the fish world. Often, when you keep 2 aggressive species together, there is one bullied. Depending on how large your tank is, you could try a 3rd puffer.

That should be enough volume to get by for now if it is a long tank not tall. Add plenty of tall fake plants or other tall decor if you already haven't

+1 to the above comments. Pictures of your tank setup will be helpful.
