New here. question
Hi all. My new f8 seemed to not want to eat. I've tried ghost shrimp, feeder guppies, and of course snails. The snails he seem to snack on a little, but shows no interest in the rest. Still small, and seems to love the 30g. Any ideas? My son threw a " potato bug" in and he devoured it. Is this ok? Thanks

Re: New here. question
Welcome to the forum. It is common for puffers to be unsettled for a while in a new environment. Don't use feeder fish it is not good for them. Try crushing a snail for him
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly
Re: New here. question
Thanks. I'll feed the feeders to my cichlids
he is doing a bit ok with the snails. Are the bugs ok? He loved it. Little crunchy and chewy, so seems ok?

Re: New here. question
Don't see why not. Be careful of feeding all things crunchy; spiders are venomous. Try other foods as well to keep it varied - brine shrimp, mysis, bloodworms etc. are all readily taken.

Earthworms also seem to be a common favourite
