hello all!
Hi all! I am new to this forum and found it by trying to find any/all info I could on the fascinating puffer fish. I have a few of salt water tanks and currently have a juvenile scribbled mappa puffer (arothron mappa). I will have to say that I have never had a fish that I liked so much as him. I also have a blue dot toby puffer (in another tank). I look forward to learning from you and possibly sharing what I have learned in the short time of having a large puffer.

Welcome
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Hello welcome. I love Mappas but never owned one, please share pics if you have some.
Re: hello all!
I know he is going to get huge... Hoping that it takes a little bit of time before that happens, he is still under 3 inches
he is my avatar pic on here. Right now hard to get good pics of him being that he is still small.

Welcome to the forum!
Just wanted to let you know that if you can't upgrade for the mappa in the future sometimes local aquariums (Not like a fish shop but the place tourists go) will take them for you.
Anyway good luck! Would love to see more pics of your fish and setups.
