Can't get rid of green algae

Please help I'm at my wits end. I have a 75 gallon marine tank with a dogface puffer and a banded goby. My water parameters are as follows.

PHOS-.001
NO3- 0
NO2- 0
PH- 8.3
KH- 240
SG- 1.025

Have run my lights at 1 hour of 10,000k and 1 hour of actinic for the last month and no change. There is fluorecent lighting in the room and a little daylight in the morning. I did a water change weekly of 25 gallons. I only use RO water. Need to test ammonia still but out of test chem. Any ideas on how to kill it off and what could be causing it.

Is the algae still spreading, or just not dying? Also, are you running a protein skimmer.

Seems to be slowly spreading. Yes am running a protein skimmer. Thought maybe phos was up and causing it or to much light. But still no changes.

What's the TDS of your water? Are yo using RODI or just RO?

Total Dissolved Solids Reverse Osmosis De-Ionized. You should have a tester for that.

Asked the aquarium shop I get my water from and it is the de-ionized. Don't have a TDS tester, will get when make it back to city. I have two koralia 950 gph powerheads/wavemakers. Used a piece of krill and don't seem to have any dead spots in tank. It circles like a cyclone lol.

You used a piece of krill to cycle the tank? What it might be then is that your tank was cycled to a lower bio load and may be going through an adjustment period to get the bb up to handle your fish load. (just a guess)

Not to cycle to watch the flow in the tank because it sinks slowly. I watched it move throughout the tank to make sure there weren't any stagnent spots in the tank and to assure propper water flow.

Finally gave up. Pulled all the rock that was completely covered in it and fresh water scrubbed it clean. The 30 lb that wasn't completely coated got salt water scrubbed in a seperate tank. Left it to seed the rest. What can you use to seed it further. I saw something about aspira, I think it was. Searched back but couldn't find the thread it was in. Think it will work to get rid of it?
