Whats this living in my tank?

Hello im just been doing my water change and i seen what looks like a fairy shrimp swimming i thought . Anyway i moved my filter and seen a second one about the same size, there about half a inch long so i got them out into a jar for now. I do have triops and sometimes fairy shrimp are in with there eggs but i have not used or touched any of the triops eggs for a few months and never have put and into my aquarium. I hatch the triops in bottled water so im not sure if they would even hatch if they got into my aquarium.

Thing is i wonder how they have been living next to the filter, my filter sure does suck water in and push it out. They must be strong swimmers. I have had fairy shrimp before but im not sure if these are them, mabie LGP can help here. They have 6 LEGS two greenish eyes on the side of their heads, two spikes on the end of the tail (like fairy shrimp) and can swim perfect, but they also walk on there 6 legs in the jar when at the bottom. I never knew fairy shrimp walked ? There a translucent colour like most baby shrimp ive seen.

Thanks any idea i don't have a good camera at the mo and my video camera is not to good aswell but i can try get a video of them.

Damselfly nymph? I get them quite often.. usually stowaways from plants..

Well.. nothing! It does nothing as well. Anyway after some time they do morph into the Damselfly and take off..

Any small fish in the tank will be doomed though. I used to catch these along with crayfish, tadpoles, and small fish back in my teen years. They would be catching and eatin the tadpoles and small fish.

damselfly and dragonfly nymphs are different. Dragonfly are dangerous. Damselfly are mostly harmless. I had one in my tank (damselfly) that grew to maturity. Very interesting critters.

Oh, I must had misidentified it being a dragonfly nymph...LOL. Damselfly nymph is harmless. Wow, im not been gettin enough sleep lately. Im just misreading and over looking everything...lol
