Spring! And best time to find FW puffers...
Hey, just wanted to remind everyone that this is the best season to find alot of the rare FW puffers in stores and online. Seen more popin up on Aquabid and other online places and even lfs's. If you are looking for a fahaka puffer or a congo or one of the other hard to find most of the year, then now is the best time to be looking
.

Thanks fella. Problem being I am only allowed to set back up 1 tank before we move. It was gonna be a dp tank again, more recently an electric blue jack Dempsey tank both of which my wife has agreed to. However If I find a Congo ( she no likey) it would be that. I can see divorce on the cards lol
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

Tell her that congo puffers dont need huge tanks. I also have that ball and chain but I have to settle with 4 tanks for now...lol Thing is with my slave driver, she likes the little congo puffer of mine and that he acts like a lil puppy begging for food is even better. He started eating earthworms from my hand. Waiting for him to start barkin soon..lolbertie 83 wrote:Thanks fella. Problem being I am only allowed to set back up 1 tank before we move. I really wish I had a near-by store that got puffers other than GSPs.

I had a fishshop order my Fahaka for me and gave them a good list of FW puffers to order. Eventhough they think most puffer are either marine or BW puffers. I told them different though. So I ended up with a healthy Fahaka and congo puffer from the same shop. Find a small fishshop like this and ask to see if they can order you what you want. Give them a list and such. You never know unless you ask. Btw, there are afew online stores that carry FW puffers. And spring time is the best time to look.
Nuclear_glitter, any certain species you are looking for? I can look online for you when they pop up.

Nothing specific, thank you though. I think I am going to ask a locally owned store if they can order fish for me.FADE2BLACK_1973 wrote: Nuclear_glitter, any certain species you are looking for? I can look online for you when they pop up.
