Post by Arny »

Hey Guys

Would a Canthigaster papua/Papuan Toby be ok with a GSP?

Both in a 55g

(Papuan Toby needs 25g and gsp needs 30g)

I am sure the majority will say no, but I would say it probably depends on the temperament of both puffers. If you try it I would definitely have a back up plan ready if things go bad.

That would probably end in tears. Remember we only state the minimum tank size. The ideal tank size in reality is much bigger, a 55 could be a wonderful home for just a gsp on it's own.
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

+1, I also think the GSP would tear a toby up.

They *might* (read: 'might') get along fine at first but once the GSP gets big enough expect it to fade the Toby. Camille is a papuan and she's full grown at only 3 inches in length. GSP's can get twice that size.
