I got the latter one and I really didn't like it. It shot my plants all over the tank.

is the way to go if you can afford it. I believe in buy once and keep it as opposed to buy cheap and replace it.

The choice is yours. You could make either work.

Thx for the info mate. I want it to create flow over my live rock/ Think I'm gona go for it (lack of cash atm)

If that's the sun sun powerhead I have one. Jeez it's powerful. It don't have a proper plug either
