Question on fahaka

Post by dumaitznick »

I recently went my LFS because a friend called and told me there was fahaka for sale. When i got to the LFS, there was 4 Fahaka's in one tank with all there fin's looking nice and was not bitten off showing that possibly they grew up together? I was thinking of buying buying all of them at putting them my 75g instead only bought one because i know how aggressive they are.

Question is, is it possible for those fahaka's grew up with each other and going back to my LFS to buy all of them and putting them in one tank?

Thank you!

No!!! Dun! 75g is not big enough to accomodate even 1 full grown fahaka. Recommended tank size for 1 is in the region of 150-180g. they may be small now but U have to think very far ahead.

My guess is those fahakas haven't been in that holding tank very long.

Yea they won't stay nice in there very long. Absolute minimum for a fahaka is 120g. But the sizes stated above are much more appropriate
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly
