Im not a fan of the filter sock unless you clean it every other day or so.... Can become a real nitrate producer. If you clean it frequently its great tho....

Can anyone give me ideas on building a sump/skimmer? I never done a SW aquarium before. I would like to get a Porcupine Puffer later this year but my current concern is that I want to go ahead and take my GSP's into full marine conditions next month since the salinity is at 1.020.

I have looked at some stuff via Google but I thought I could use some personal input from experienced SW aquarium hobbyists on here as I think this site is the most accurate and reliable source of information on the net for fishkeeping. ;)
