new to posting on forum but have been watching for some time, great info and very useful site. wondered if anyone could offer advice on when to move a Ceylon puffer up to full marine conditions. Cecil is 2.5 inches right now and doing really well, I'm gradually increasing the marine mix in his tank by about 0.001 each week. should i just keep up this increase until he reaches full marine or is that too soon? he's at 1.008 at the moment.
many thanks

thanks for the quick responses, my reasoning is a follows:
when i got the Ceylon i thought i was getting a fig 8, therefore the tank is actually too small for the Ceylon (10 UK Gal) i am getting a new tank next weekend at 50UK gal but wanted live rock etc to help with filtration. the plants i have are not coping with the salt levels in the current system and just turn to mush over a couple of weeks further polluting the tank.
if i keep the new tank at 1.008-1.010 SG what do you suggest for decor - plants especially?
thanks again
