Walmart makes me angry! (and updates)

I hate Walmart because they dupe customers into buying "easy to care for" fish such as the "fresh water", "flake eating" green spotted puffer. I know this has been addressed many times in this forum...However, I was there to get some baby snails for Carlos (which this guy wouldn't let me have them...he was going to sell them to me), and I saw this in the GSP tank:
Image One of the saddest little (well, he was quite big) GSP's I've ever seen! I wanted to take him home and save him, but I knew better. And then I saw these, which they were selling as GSP's! I know I am not a puffer expert, but I believe these are Ceylon or Figure 8's or something...but def. not GSP's!

Sorry, had to rant.

Anyways, thanks again for everyone's help here. Carlos is doing very will now, I think he's been in our home for about 3 months now. We are converting to brackish then marine. I just did a water change and now we are at 1.0004. He seems to be much more active and brighter ever since we have added salt to the water. The fiance is excited to go full marine, so we are working our way up.

I can't go look. It breaks my heart every time I do and makes me sick.
5.5g: Pond snails
5.5g: Red Cherry Shrimp and Rams
10g: PZ the Pee Wee (DP), Ghost shrimp, Otos x3
36g: Luau the F8, Zebra nerites x8, sometimes a herd of ghost shrimp for food
60g: Perches the starry blenny, 1 watchman goby Snaps the l.c. hermit, 2 emerald crabs, 1 red crab, 2 turbos, 7 asteas, 2 nerites, 2 clown gobies and 2 firefish gobies (upgrading to a 90 gallon reef)

RIP Yoshi, you are dearly missed <3

The other puffers are Figure 8's. Honestly, that GSP doesn't even look like a GSP

Wow, that's the 1st I've ever heard of F8s at Walmart.

At the local Walmart where I "liberated" my 3 GSP's

Living conditions are far from decent compared to OP pics (at least that store bothered to use some gravel to cover the poo). However, these fish here must have been fairly new as they looked active and healthy for the most part.

Ya know, Walmart does a hell of a lot worse things than sell gsp's.

This is true. They're the epitome of the evil corporate empire. That's why I shop at Meijer.

Options:

1. Do not go there.

2. If you go there and shop there, stay out of the fish department.

3. Whatever you do, DO NOT "rescue" GSPs from there or any other store with similar practices.
