hello everyone
I'm New To This Forum. I Have A 115 Gallon SW Aquarium. One Porcupine Puffer Named Bella, Shes About 4-5 Inches In Size. Here Is A Photo Of Her. She Came In Thursday And I've Been Having Some Trouble With Her As Far As Getting Here To Eat. Also She Seems Really Shy. I Have Gotten Some Advice From Friends But Was Referred To This Site For More Information About This Particular Species. I've Owned SW Tanks Before But Never Had A Puffer Fish Before. So All Advice Is Greatly Appreciated On This Fish. I've Been Trying To Get Her To Eat But She Just Looks At It. She Looks Really Healthy Not Thin At All. I've Tried Shrimp With The Shell Still On And I've Tried Squid And Blood Worms But No Luck...

I've never seen anyone type quite like that!
What live foods have you tried? Crab? Earthworm?

I Haven't Tried Any Live Food Yet Because I've Read Some Articles On Here About Getting These Picky Eaters To Eat, That It Isnt Best To Feed Them Live Food When Your Trying To Get Them To Accept Perepared Food. I've Tried Raw Shrimp And Raw Squid. But Its Only Been 2 Days That I've Had Her So Maybe Shes Just Getting Used To Her New Home?

They do take a while to settle in, give it time. Welcome to the forum
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly
