Cute! What kind of puffer is under all the sand?

I have to share a non puffer sleeping fish. Have anyone seen a mandarinfish sleeping? They are disgusting! That beautiful fish looks like it's rotting! Luckily I had been warned before I saw it the first time, or I would have panicked totally. They look so dead!

I don't think that is doable. They hide pretty well at night (at least mine do), and I came across my female almost by accident. I have never found the male at night. I have no idea where he sleeps. They turn almost white, that whitish kind of color you find on fish that has been dead for a little while. And they press themselves so tightly agains the rock (or whatever they sleep on), so they are a lot more flat than usual, again giving the impression of a dead fish that has started to decompose. :yuck:
