Anoney ID these please

Post by vorton »

hey guys.

my wife has gone out and brought some coral frags for a separate tank so we can feed our puffer a few coral frags every now and then.

i was wondering if any one could id these corals as she didnt bother to ask if they were ok and tell me if they are safe for my puffer to eat.

Also should i be worried about them harming me as i read some can be pretty toxic to humans . never kept corals before so any input would be welcome

I don't see anything in the first picture, but the bottom two are common zoanthids or palys. Some puffers eat them some leave them alone. I guess you will find out.

Puffers do not eat corals for food.
