WTB Mbu Puffer

Post by newyork10 »

I have a 1,200 Galon Pond, so please don't tell me I don't have enough Room. I've already had one before and he died. I need another one. Does anyone have one for sale, or knows where to buy one online?

Thanks,

Alex

Dun mind me asking.. How did it died? U do have a HUGE space for a mbu but just curious.. It wouldn't be enjoyable to see them from the top right? And U would miss out on all their feeding/hunting behaviour..

Well unfortunately when I bought the puffer, I just moved into my new house, the pond was just starting up. Then one night the mbu must of jumped out of the water. Somehow he got out and died:( I really enjoy the top view though, I don't know why I just do, so does anyone know where I can buy another Mbu?

Oh I'm Sorry I forgot to say this, we re-structured the whole pond so that the walls are about a foot taller then the water, so there is not even a CHANCE that he could get out:)

We have a fellow who occasionally posts on here that gets us rare puffers. I got my red miurus from him, many years ago. His email is: oluwatoyinojo@yahoo.com His name is, Toyin. If he doesn't know, he might be able to lead you to someone who does. Good luck, I'm happy to hear finally a mbu will be housed properly!
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Welcome, and it's nice to see someone making responsible decisions regarding the Mbu. I'm sorry your other one jumped. We don't currently have any members wishing to rehome an Mbu in the US, have you checked local ads or rescue groups?

Some areas have rescue groups for exotic animals, including fish.
