thanks they do change to the golden phase but it will never happen in an aquarium. i think the guineafowl is the most striking of the puffers so im happy it wont be changing colour lol
Thank you. His beak is abit over extended at the bottim i brough a massive bag of un cooked cockles in the shell for the ahop to feed him .
Its a golden puffer in the tank next to him. He serms to be in love with it lol hes pretty friendy as he shares with a porc a simular size hes about 8 inches atm and looks in great condition
Beautiful guy there. You might have to provide some puffer dentistry for him; they really do look like they need a clipping in the very near future. Once over grown hard shelled foods won't ware them down. Although I have never clipped any of the larger puffers I have seen pictures and I believe they use a grinding tool. Seeing as he is going to be in the shop for a few more months I would ask the owner if they have any knowledge or know anyone that can do this.

My puffer ( gizmo as my wife's named him ) is sharing with a porcupine puffer and a lipstick tang, the next tank is the golden puffer he is about 11 inches long and he is priced at 350 £:'( , then the end tank i think they have an adult sns puffer over 20 inches he looks amazing .
The shops located in the midlands mate its a specialist marine place called mg marines its a bit of a trek for me but its the best shop about by far they actually care about the fish and who they sell them too .
Indeed pp the shop are looking after him till my tank is cycled im paying them a keeper fee until my tank is cycled. Costing a boom but so worth it for this beautiful fish .
