What size tank? Future upgrade? Just curious as you will be asked
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

Hey up.. moobs is at a friends shop until i can / if i can make a larger tank for the flat.. being right up the top of the flats we cant physically get a large enough tank up the stairs at the moment. I bought a new tank and we tried. 6 of us to try and get it up and in but we couldnt get around the first corner at the stairs.

Have been looking into ply wood tanks and making something to fit...

Carmel is currently in a 3ft x 18 x 18 inch tank along with 3 guppies so she gets used to other fish like moobs did.
When she gets bigger ill move her to.moobs old tank and hopefully then into the custom builds.

If i cant build in the tanks then she will have to go live with moobs .... Or we may have mooved to somewhere with a ground floor flat/house by then.

go acrylic.

Very easy to work with and much better than plywood.

This guy Joey is really cool. He is also a member on another forum I belong to and will happily answer your questions regarding DIY acrylic builds.

I don't get it--you can't keep the mbu you already have, yet you guys buy another one??? For every one you purchase, another one is taken from it's river. :(

The stores buy whatever is caught.. available for them to buy.
Carmel was the last one there.. being the smallest and thinner she was obviously last to get sold.

Id rather of bought her than someone who hasnt got a clue about them buy them and then they die in a week.

We had moobs for about 2 years before having her rehoused to a larger tank... The only reason we havnt got one in here yet is we live up 4 flights of stairs and couldnt get the last tank up here.

Hence wanting to build a larger one into the flat.

So would you prefer i and others leave them in shops for them to either die or die at the hands of fish keepers who havjt a clue.

Have i once come on here and had problems regarding the health of my fish? ... Im pretty sure i havnt had any problems.
