tank finally came this weekend
it looks abit bleak at the moment as the lr doesn't arrive till Wednesday i have ordered 20 kg will that be enough in a tank this size ?
had some issues with the sump inlet pipe leaking but found out my mate had put a nut on the pipe the wrong way round doh!!!
After about an hour of hard work we got the thing off lol an everything running ok at the moment

4x2x2 with 3x.5x1.8 sump 638 leters total

I'd go with another 10kg. You could just add dry rock to the live, to save $$$.

i put 25 kg in the tanks now, wow that stuff gotten expensive 14£ a kg :'( .
I brought some ceramice bio balls to place in the sump, ill remove them once i have enought cash to get the remaining rock : ).
have to sort the inlet pipe to the sump has a tiny leak but apart from that the tanks pefect.
my puffer fish is allready in the lfs hes in quarantine atm and then they are charging me a keeping fee unitll the tnkas ready
he looks cool. ill remember to take a cammera so i can post some photos

Bio-balls will become a nitrate factory, unless rinsed regularly.

yeh i know i borught a masisve box so i can change them regualay, untill i get paied and cna get another 10 kg of lr.
That will put the total lr in the tank to 35 kg for 638 liters that should be enought you think ?
