Fluval FX5
I scored yesterday. I stopped in a local resale store that I check every-so-often for random aquarium stuff and found a Fluval FX5 for $15.00 with everything for it except the hoses and the overall condition looked barley used. I spoke to the store owner and he didn’t know what it was, he called it “some kind of bucket”. I opened it up and all media was inside, somewhat dirty, and all parts were in great shape so I plugged it in and it fired up just fine. I will be stopping in Lo_wes in a couple of days to pick up the PVC parts to make a spraybar and the 1” tubing to finish it off.

Wish we had them that cheap around here. We only have specialty stores around here. I checked yesterday and for the same filter here, it runs $470. That would be the day where I could pick it up for 15...
