I have a 45g 36" long, 18" deep tank with 30++ mushrooms...i currently have a 65w cfl@ 6500k, a 25w 7800k t8 18" tube, and a 25w 6500k t8 18" tube. I have ordered a 12 led (cree) fixture with 6 cool white and 6 royal blues. http://www.rapidled.com/servlet/the-59/ ... LED/Detail

I have noticed my corals have faded color after short period of time after i acclimated them. I have no actinics now. :o
Is that NEEDED?? Probably yes... What should i keep and what should i trash? Sorry...don't have lumens or PAR/PUR ratings.
Anyone chime in..just kinda like to hear opinions and experiences. Thx.

Actinics bring out the blue colors of your corals. I also like to ad some pink lighting to bring out the reds.
