too much light?
I think my GSP is scared of my new light. I added a par 38 12 led light to the tank and now my GSP seems to be hiding from it. he just sits in the corner of the tank out of the beam. Is he going to get used to it or what? I really want to start adding corals soon and this light is part of the system I am building for that goal.
I'm pretty sure I have a blue thumb.

Maybe add a floating plastic plant to shade him from the brightness for a week & then keep removing parts of the plant until he gets used to no cover at all.

AFAIK and maybe PP should confirm or deny ... puffers are not reef safe.wagner7123 wrote:I really want to start adding corals soon and this light is part of the system I am building for that goal.

Mostly true but with softies, I have had pretty good success. Forget about clams (or course!) & LPS.
