Skimmer releasing a lot of Microbubbles
i have a 40 gallon FOWLR tank with a BakPak 2r skimmer on it and im having an issue. My skimmer is releasing A TON of micro bubbles. it has never done this before but im guessing it is because the melafix i treated with because my coral beauty angel has an open sore. I let the tank sit for 2 days with the medication then did a 25% wc and turned my skimmer back on but once i did i got the micro bubbles all over. should i turn the skimmer back off or will it go away??

Melafix + skimmer = tons of bubbles & foam.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

I don't use the skimmer when using Melafix. Are you using the marine kind?

Well, if u hve the rio pump, who knows the reason...mine will be all noisy and i flip in on and off quick, and it quiets down...air stone mod helps with micro bubble escape...if u totally skip the venturi process and rely on limewood air stone.
