From the picture on their website it is an irrubesco.

Re: Offer from LFS - red eye puffer
I ended up not getting it, they have it living in a 3 gallon tank, and I even went back to the LFS to check it out again, as soon as I walked up to the tank the poor thing cowered into the corner, and I would need to do anything upgrade with the tank, really don't have the room for that, so needless to say, I got myself 2 dwarf puffers in a 6.5 gallon and put the beta/snail tank in my step daughters room. They are so stinking tiny right now, less than 1/2 inch. I did feel bad for not picking up the red eye, but just how it acted and even how the tank looked, didn't seem to have a good personality and the eyes were not red, they were like a diluted brown.

Well, looks like I'm going back on my word, I'm going to pick it up tonight. The 2 DP's I picked up died yesterday, both looked like skin and bones, not too sure what the issue was since the water permeters came out normal, and they were eating, assuming diseased.

That guy probably looks awful because he's in poor conditions.

Re: Offer from LFS - red eye puffer
It is, which is why i originally felt bad for not getting it in the first place, didnt make it in time lastnight so I'm going to swing by right after work tonight and bring it home. They are usually very good at keeping the tanks and fish clean, but that poor thing seems to be neglected and swimming in filth. I've been looking on craigslist for a 10g, but until then I will take the tank it's in and give it a good cleaning.
