Green pufferfish or Green spotted puffer
Green pufferfish or Green spotted puffer
How do i tell the difference between http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_pufferfish and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetraodon_nigroviridis? are the requirements the same? my guess i got a gsp as they seem to be more common.
Re: Green pufferfish or Green spotted puffer
The fluviatilis can also be known as a ceylon puffer. They almost look like a cross between a F8 and and a GSP. Our pictures are down right now but you can try Google for pictures of each type. Ceylons get a bit bigger and have a recommended tank size of 40gal whereas GSPs have a minimum tank size of 30gal. Their water requirements are the same, high brackish to marine conditions.
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Fluviatilis looks like it has the back of a F8, with the spotted tummy of the GSP:

Those would be GSPs.
