Hi I have 54 gallon marine tank with Ehiem 2227 pro and I'm thinking of upgrading my filter to Ehiem 2229 pro
Is this filter okie is it too large for this tank
Please help

I personally do not like wed drys. Live rock & a good protein skimmer is all you need for SW. Powerheads for flow, too.

Wet and dry create a wave effect and I use large 2329s on most of my tanks with no bother, some as small as 90l. However for marine as pp stated there are much better options. You could perhaps put live rock in it?
