Can ramshorn snails get parasites ??

So in my breeding snail tank today I noticed white fast swimming things that are either worms or snails that have no shells?? Is that possible ??

how often do you do water changes and feed? they could just be bugs from overfeeding and not enough water changes. hopefully someone else will stop in to comment but this is mostly what i have seen them being related to

probably planarians , non parasitic flat worms .....usually appear in poor water conditions .......give tank good clean and remove all debris

nice SAP'S btw , make sure you keep feeding them plenty of snails , their beaks grow ever so quick and are a nightmare to trim !

nematodes .. planaria are not usually found free swimming.

They are harmless and usually an indicator of an immature (or newly set up) tank.
