My new 37 gallon marine setup tell me what you think

Post by PuffieUno »

Okay so lots more questions as i have changed my mind. I went to a bunch of saltwater shops while i was out of town and realized i would much rather have a toby in this tank. I plan on having a blue spotted toby or a saddle valentini whichever one i come across first. Okay so here are the questions.

1.. What type of powerhead or circulation will I need and what do yall recommend brand wise?

2.. If i raise the salinity .002 per week when i do my water changes will it kill the bacteria that is already built up in the brackish tank?

3..What brand protein skimmer should i be looking for?

4.. I plan on leaving the bio wheel running that is on the tank will this be all the filtration i will need?

Any advice would be greatly appreciatied. Thanks

If you're planning on getting a SW fish, then start the tank over as SW. 1 1/2-2lbs LR/gal, protein skimmer & powerheads. Ditch the HOB filter.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...
