Tank larger than the stand

Post by wagner7123 »

I have a new 36" long tank but my stand is 32" long. can I use the stand? Should i extend the base using a 2x12? any suggestions I don't want a different stand just the larger tank. Thanks
I'm pretty sure I have a blue thumb.

Put a sheet of wood the dimension of the tank between the tank & stand.

Don't let the tank hang off the ends because it could cause a leak in the tank.
