Reuse live sand from one tank to another

I have 54 gallon marine tank that scratched so I'm getting new one. the Marine Substrate - Samoa I have in it about 80 lbs 5 years old can I reuse in new tank
If so do I need to prepare first
I m trying to change tank without too much stress
Ps I'm going to reuse about 70% of the same water

Please help

Welcome to the forum. You can reuse sand . The tank will most likely gunk up a little but nothing too bad
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

+1, it will clear after a few days. It's best to reuse sand, you don't want to lose your little creatures.
