Also, what puffers would anyone suggest for a 55 marine? For awhile I was set on getting a lionfish--a dwarf or mombasa--but every time I look at Lola I can't help but think she is the most gorgeous fish in the world. Haha, a mother's bias. But really, I just love the puffers' body shape, and I love their tailfins. Of all strange things, their tailfins.

I am completely in love with this beauty, but they get too big:

I've thought about tobies, they are quite pretty, especially this one:

(blue spotted)

but i'm not totally sold. they don't have the smooshed up face and tailfins i love. haha. biiiias.

i know a GSP would do well, but I want to know if there are others as well?

Please do! I intend on rereading/catching up on your adventure into saltwater. Unfortunately school is eating up my soul, and my time. I graduate in three and a half short weeks (and get my tank in three!), so after that I'll have plenty of reading time!! :D

I'd get a lion fish...they are awesome! I want one for my 110 when we get it set up. My Toby is probably getting put in the 110 so a lionfish is a no go for me.

I have that toby. Next to my fahaka, Filbert, he is the 2nd most personable fish in the house.

Thats definitely a plus! Have you ever had a lion, PP? I have read they are very personable as well. I just feel slightly apprehensive about a fish that stings. And isn't a puffer, haha!
I'm so in love with Lola, she's vying for my attention as I'm writing a paper, and she's definitely doing a good job. She's dancing in a weird little pattern I've never seen before, and I think to myself, how could I possibly want anything other than another puff?!

But really I think lions are super neat. Ugh the battle rages on in my heart! Good thing I am in no. rush.

Gage and I are planning on going to our SW LFS sometime this week just to look around, I like seeing things in person instead of just on a screen.

Yes I have. They hide 90% of the day under a ledge. They are difficult to feed because they only eat live food. Many die in captivity from starvation.

I don't know....I have to say I am pretty partial to puffs now, haha. Puffs and bettas. I like it when there is something in a tank and it recognizes me and is happy to see me (feed me! feed me!) LoL. Lions sound like a "I keep to myself" fish from reading PP's xp. Just saying, LoL. But that's me xD
