So can a figure 8 puffer really be happy in there?
I have one F8 in a 29 gallon tank, and he uses all of it. I really wouldn't want to go any smaller (unless it was perhaps a 20 long).

Dwarf puffers have OODLES of personality. Mine were totally interactive and just as much fun to keep as my Figure 8. Easier, too, because the DPs don't need brackish water.
Yo ho, yo ho, a puffer's life for me.

That is basically a standard 15g tank and is the bare minimum in size for an F8. But with good filtration and water changes as well as lots of natural looking and neat decor to explore I think you would be good to go. Also if you got a juvenile F8 he will have time to grow and by that time you may be ready and able to get a larger tank.

Is pufferpedia up and running now? It still doesn't work for me

It's on the forum page for now, until we get a new server. Sorry, there's no pics.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Yes it'll be fine, I would add 2 or 3 Bumblebee gobies as well because they don't contribute much waste to the tank

Couldn't he do three dwarfs in that tank? I keep 6 in a 20 long...no problems with weekly water changes.
