T.pustulatus are almost impossible, if not impossible, to find and very expensive. You have to be really careful when you see one advertised because juvenile Fahakas look like T.pustulatus.
I personally am with RTR, a tank of SAP's are a beautiful thing to behold!

They shoal fairly loosely, not at all like Rasboras or Danios or Barbs. But if you set a largish tank with fairly strong current along the front glass, they do give the effect of schooling.
Folks who have seen them in the Amazon say that the edges-of-the-main-channel schools are quite large. In flood season, they migrate out onto the floodplains for breeding.

Mine is pretty active too. She has changed colors from yellow-tan to tan with red spots. And she is very attached to me now. When I come in the room she comes to the glass and wiggles her fins at me. At first I thought I was just making it up, but she does it to my grandkids now and they get a real kick out of it. "Fishy's waving, Mimi!"Srkoe wrote:I love my Congo's.
