The little thing is happily swimming with Duma, we talked about getting ANOTHER bigger tank, oiy, so the tankmates will be either temporary, unless we get a huge tank. Duma wasn't so pleased at first, but now is doing fine, no nipping just a little chasing around, fed them both a little while ago as well to help with any aggression issues that may arise.

The LFS clerk thought I was nuts when I specifically wanted this one, it was in a 60 gallon tank with about 20 other F8's, and about 2 or 3 other ceylons, and NOT from walmart, petco or petsmart lol... although Duma came from petco.

Ceylon, which i will probably name Tipsy (should name it suicide, thing jumped out of the bowl twice), is only about 1" large, and was kept in a brackish tank. So to avoid stress on either, i did a trip acclimation with the ceylon and slowly added the mixed salt water I had to the tank. Again, both seem to be doing fine.

Ontop of that I also purchased a canister filter made for tanks up to 100 gallons, so the biowaste will be a little more easily handled. I did start of getting the hang of getting the salt right, and I think my problem with the salt not disolving was the temperature. Blonde moment, I had the heater IN the bucket, but never turned it on.

I will try and get pictures at some point as well. I think I may have found my new hobby/obsession, fish and puffers :)

OH! and they had dwarf puffers as well, so small Duma probably wouldn't need to open it's mouth to eat. So cute and active! I go to that petstore pretty often even though it's in the next town over and sometimes overpriced. But when they do have specials and sales, beats everyone in the area, and you can never beat quality and customer service. But anyways, all the times I have been there I never paid any attention to what puffers they had available, not to mention the selection of marine fish is triple the size of any other place or website. <--- Do you think I should ask for commission? :)
