Ok so the 425 Hydor would be better?

Ahh I looked up the worm and now I'm paranoid. How would I remove such a worm. What are the odds of them being in LR bought from a LFS?

xray and I don't really agree on circulation pumps, but in my opinion, especially as they get larger, it seems more difficult for them to navigate their round blimp bodies with their little jazz fins in strong current. I also think that it makes it nearly impossible to provide them with a slow area to rest. The current sweeps them around as they try to curl up and nap.

Younger puffers don't seem to mind as much, when I had a little 1" one, he liked the current. But Balki at 2.5ish inches struggles in the high current, avoids it, and will stay in the area of the tank that has the least amount of current. I guess it depends on your puffer. 2 nanos still give you 10x turnover, the 425 will give you about 18x. But if you can angle them to still provide a resting area, then they could work.

Doing a FW dip usually will bring out the bad guys. It also will make it so you'd have to cure your rock, which I highly recommend anyway. The moment your rock is exposed to air, there is bacteria die off on it, causing ammonia.

Ok so finally cycled my tank properly and have everything in order. Water parameter are excellent and my puffer seems to love his new home.

Equipment I have running:

AC 110 Fuge
AquaC Remora Pro
Hydor nano x2
Light (one blue bulb, one white bulb. both on in the pics. bought from a guy on craigslist )

And yes, he/she is in full marine. I did a drip acclimation over the span of about 5 hours.
