Keep in mind--Mandarins eat their weight in pods, daily.

yep, I'll be waiting a few months before even considering adding one. But with 150 gallons, and a ton of live rock, plus a refugium in the sump I think i'll be able to cultivate enough to keep 1 fed.

He is turning into quite the pig. I think I almost put too much in the tank today, and I was having trouble getting him to eat Monday with the same amount of food.
I've kept dp's before, but never had to worry about beaks overgrowing, have a quick question regarding beak growth.
How many snails should I be feeding a week to make sure his beak stays in check? His beak looks fine now, so I'm wondering if beak growth isn't really an issue till they get older, or how vigilant I should be. I have a ten gallon tank with tons of ramshorn snails, but have not seen him eat 1 snail yet, and I've put at least 10 in the tank.
He's getting even more active now, and has been exploring all the live rock. Color is very vibrant now, and he looks extremely happy, very exited about how well he's doing.
