Redid my tank

Post by Tim »

Because my puffer just did not seem happy in a marine tank with live rock I put him in a big bucket and made the tank brackish again. I put him back in the tank yesterday and he seems loads happier. Don't mind the rocks on the wood, they are there to keep it from floating until such time that they have soaked up enough water then the rocks will go the gravel.

It's 2 pieces of wood, what kind I do not know. I had a large piece of red/brown drift wood some time before but that coloured the water for months so I went for a lighter coloured one this time. There are loads of Anubias in there along with 3 marimo balls, 3 shiny stones I found at LFS, 3 big rocks.

1.008. The Anubias are in as a test. I've heard mixed reports about them so I figured I would try, if they don't like it they will go into my snail tanks and I'll get the silk variety.
