min tank size?

Post by blackghostknife »

what is the actual min tank size for a banana puffer? live aquaria says 125 but I am skeptical.
The woods would be very silent if no birds sang there except those that sang the best. Use the talents you possess.

Ya Id say very min is 120(better foot print then a 125 imho), cause at that size thats no different then a Fahaka. Even though Im wanting to step up to a 180 for Bloat

Puffers are so pretty!
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

nope. I saw them online and was just wondering about their minimum tank size because live aquaria often gets that wrong.

Arothron immaculatus should not be kept in anything less than a 180 IMO. Many recommend 150, though I feel that more width than is provided in a 150 for overall turning radius is beneficial. I wouldn't go with anything less than a 150, however. Good luck.
