Im not sure what puffers are available to me, im going to a few stores on saturday to find that out, as well as trying to get some bacteria from them. the is a hardware store down town i could try at for the ammonia. i currently have a gravel substrate in my tank, could i just cover that with sand, or should i just replace it all?

Just make sure you shake the bottle really good and if there are any bubbles don't get it.

This is the one I found and I am currently using to cycle my tank. I have also used it to cycle two other tanks.

Crays are opportunistic feeders & will grab up a sleeping puffer in a heartbeat.
