Are you feeding him blood/blackworms?

Nope. He has never had them. Should he?

Oh the pictures haha...Yeah idk what those things are. They seem to be empty casings that something left behind from moving about. They fall apart at the slightest touch.

When you treat for IP's how long do you treat for? Once the symptoms go away, the medication still needs to be delivered. A lot of people stop treating once the symptoms go away, thus helping the parasite build an immunity to the medication.

It doesn't sound like there is, but is there any activated carbon that could interfere?

EDIT: He's treating for 3 days? That doesn't sound long enough to me. Once the symptoms stop, continue to treat.

If you feel like you're dealing with a significant parasite problem then I would treat for a longer period. When I do it I normally do it for 4 days. I don't believe that there is a worry about overdoing it but there is if you under-do it.

When I treat for IP's I usually treat for 3 days...With this treatment I am going to treat for 4-5 and see what happens. I Run activated carbon in the sump when I am not treating but I remove and only use a filter pad while I am treating. How long do I need to soak his food in the medication for it to fully absorb it?

I've always waited for several hours. I don't know if anyone actually knows what long enough really.

I'm unsure of the exact time, but several hours should suffice. Another +1 to Flutter. GJ, lol.

Several hours?! Man, I only waited a half hour on his feeding today. Guess I will have to try that tomorrow.

I just mix it and stick it in the fridge. I like to be extra careful :)

Ha will do! I hope that IP's really are the issue because I am running out of options.
