it turns out, all the active ingredients are what they use to deworm dogs in the first place.
Wish I had seen your post earlier--I could have told you that.
Get your dog a Thundershirt. It should help with his anxiety. You still do need to train him to be in his crate. How long is he alone every day?
he is crate trained, well I guess I have to say for the most part. He sleeps in it at night and loves it, will sleep there all day if I put him in his crate and not make a peep....it's only when we are gone that he starts having a total cow. It's never used as punishment and he knows that when he's in trouble he can go in there and we won't bother him, so he know's it's his safe place. I did everything I did with my beagle, and she's fully crate trained. We can leave for 8 hours if we really wanted to and she doesn't make a peep. My neighbor thought he was dying the first day we left him alone-- got the front office involved and everything. He is also in training to become a certified therapy dog and the trainer is totally stumped. He's only alone for 3-4 hours Mondays and Wednesdays, then 2-3 hours Tuesdays and Thursdays. Only when I go to school.
What is a Thundershirt? Never heard of that before...heck maybe we can get it and it will help...travel calm and benedryl certainly don't help

*the first time we left him alone in his crate. He even got out of the crate when it was fully locked! I had to zip tie his entire crate together because I couldn't figure out how he was getting out of it!

in so many words, that's what i was alluding to............
See, Taz doesn't do that...Lady (the beagle) did that so much that I had to give her meds and brush her teeth every day. Thank God she grew out of it and it was NOT one of the habits that she has taught my little butt nugget. He drives me crazy as it is--you'd never known he's graduated two training classes and working on a third.

LoL so the thundershirt doesn't keep him calm while we are away. But, it gives him something to do so he tries to get out of the shirt so he doesn't chew up on anything else LOL
It works great when he's in his crate-- doesn't whine, and he's pretty calm. LoL at least now we have something to help teach him about the crate.

Superdog flying with crossed paws and thundershirt on would be an epic pic. We need more pics of your dog pp. My wife is in love with Kalvin. Maybe i should be worried lol
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly
