Help my Fahaka won't eat!!!

Yesterday after a water changed, everything is ok. until today, my fahaka "Bella" isn't eating bloodworms. "Bella" is exactly four inches long and she live in the same tank with a spotted arowana, albino sailfin pleco, and tiger datnoid for about 9 month by now. Today "bella" swim up when i threw the bloddworm cube in the tank as soon as i threw it in, but then she would only take like 2-3 nip out of it and doesn't eat much, she ate like only 2-3 pieces of bloodworms and the rest she spitted out. please can anyone tell me what wrong with her and she swim happily all level in the tank

Did you ever find out if bella had Ich or not?

What have you been feeding her? You were asking about foods to prevent tooth overgroth in another thread. I'm worried that she may be spitting out her food because he teeth have already grown too large.

Can you see her teeth in her mouth? Do they stick out at all?

you need to defrost the frozen cubes first.. even if she's not spitting it out because her teeth are sensitive, there may be some not-so-savoury stuff holding that cube together.. always make sure that you properly defrost and rinse these before feeding.

Ok, just a few things. Firstly you want to start making arrangements now to get the puffer into their own large enough tank.Start this now so that you have a fully cycled tank for when the puffer starts to grow,matures and becomes aggressive.
Secondly you need to sort a better diet out for the puffer . Bloodworms alone are not a suitable diet. Read the library topic on feeding.
Thirdly the food you are feeding at the moment needs to be thoroughly thawed prior to offering to the fish.

i agree, thawing the foods is very important.

curretnly i use a small bowl and some hot water, and i let it sit for about 10 mins.
im trying to get vitamins to thaw the food in too.
