Ohh, duh... I forgot about Maracyn Two, They sell that at my Petmart too. When I used to work for Petsmart we used Maracyn and Maracyn Two together in our sick tanks with a decent success rate.
I am already doing daily 50% water changes, so that should take care of the water parameters while I am medicating, and I will have to watch them closely after treatment. I have plenty of Prime on hand, I love the stuff.

Since this board has been up, we have found there are several questions that routinely get asked in order to help diagnose problems. If you can have that information to begin with in your post, we'll be able to help right away (if we can!) without having to wait for you to post the info we need.
1) Your water parameters - pH, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrates and salinity (if appropriate). This is by far the most important information you can provide! Do not answer this with "Fine" "Perfect" "ok", that tells us nothing. We need hard numbers.
2) Tank size and a list of ALL inhabitants. Include algae eaters, plecos, everything. We need to know what you have and how big the tank is.
3) Feeding, water change schedule and a list of all products you are using or have added to the tank (examples: Cycle, Amquel, salt, etc)
4) What changes you've made in the tank in the last week or so. Sometimes its the little things that make all the difference.
5) How long the aquarium has been set up, and how did you cycle it? If you don't know what cycling is read this: Fishless Cycling Article and familiarize yourself with all the information. Yes. All of it.
We want to help, and providing this information will go a LONG way to getting a diagnosis and hopeful cure that much faster.
While you wait for assistance:
One of the easiest and best ways to help your fish feel better is clean water! If you are already on a regular water change schedule (50% weekly is recommended) a good step to making your fish more comfortable while waiting for diagnosis/suggestions is to do a large water change immediately. Feel free to repeat daily or as often as you can, clean water is always a good thing! Use of Amquel or Prime as a dechlor may help with any ammonia or nitrite issues, and is highly recommended.
Note - if you do not normally do large water changes, doing a sudden, large water change could shock your fish by suddenly changing their established water chemistry. Clean water is still your first goal, so in this case, do several smaller (10%) water changes over the next day or two before starting any large ones.

They are made to be dosed together if necessary.
Either that puffer is tiny or those rocks are really BIG! I see the easy possibility of food getting caught in there & not easy for cleaning.

I do have pretty large rocks in there, they are sold as River Rock. I gravel vac weekly, and it is actually pretty easy to clean the debris out. The benefits I have found are: ghost shrimp and snails can hide in there so they are not all eaten in one feeding, and he does not get the small rocks caught in his mouth when diving after said food (that was a concern when I had the smaller rocks).
As you can see, those rocks can collect algae. They are stained green.
Algae isn't a problem in my new place. It was in my last place because the room I kept him in got a lot of natural light.

The Minocycline (Maracyn 2) seems to be working. After the first treatment, his mouth is showing progress. There is a lot less white tissue than there was in the last picture.

Today is the 4th treatment of the Maracyn 2, and the second round of Maracyn. Pazuzu is still holding strong! He is looking a lot better. I will try to get a good picture and update the post with more specifics tomorrow.

Hey folks,
Pazuzu is looking MUCH better. His sore is actually closing up, with minimal scarring. I finished the 2nd round of Maracyn and the first dose of Maracyn 2, and it looked much better.
At this point, I am doing 25% water changes daily to deal with the fact that I probably killed off most of the bacteria. I have showing higher than trace amounts (still less than 1ppm) of ammonia. I will continue my water changes and Prime until the ammonia and nitrites subside.
No pictures as of now. To be frank, it is a P.I.T.A. to get a good picture of him with my camera phone, and probably causes more stress to him than necessary.
