Going to look at it after school/before I pick up the new puff. 200gal with stand no lights or anything, and I dont think there are tops to it either. All for 150 + 50$ delivery fee. Needless to say I'm excited!

sorry for your loss.

It would be sweet if you could move everything over from the 80 to the larger tank.
if you follow me, you avoid stepping in the crap that I just did...

That is my plan, once I get the bigger tank I'm going to move everything except for maybe the sand from the 80 into the larger one. The 200 gallon tank was no good, it had been sitting outside for over 3 weeks, same story with the stand. It also had two huge chips in the corner of the tank. I told the guy he was better off selling it as a terrarium cause no fish-owner is going to put 200 gallons of water in a tank with cracked seals. So the search is still on!

Here is the not so little guy I picked up last night, who is now in the 30 gal QT tank..

At first I just had the HOB AC50 for filtration/flow. I walked into my room and saw him almost stuck to the intake of the filer, so I put a powerhead in there on very low, and he loves it! They say these Puffs are super shy in new tanks and won't do much swimming in a new tank. He is up and down the glass all the time, so at least he's not miserable. He is happy though, he ate last night at TONGS before we took him home. Gonna try and feed him before I go to school. Gonna soak the shrimp in garlic and MAXAMINO, see if he likes that. I don't have a name for him yet, but soon i will!

Hey he's really cute! I'd put a giant pvc tube or something for him to hide in. Or at least some points of interest, stuff you can sanitize when quarantine is over, but will keep him from getting too bored.

Since he's a stars and stripes puffer, I suggest the name "America, F*** Yeah!"

That was totally a joke. No one in their right mind would name a fish that.
lol
I think it's ok if stuff moves around a little in the current. But if something weighs enough, it should stay put.

You should have had the tank filled to see if it holds water. just cause it has cracked seals doesnt mean its going to leak or break
