Well, he's definitely going finally. Although I don't see any white stuff coming out. Looks like he was constipated though lol. Poor guy, he's sitting in one area in his tank with a profound look of concentration on his face. Maybe worms come later? I hope so. He's definitely loosing some of that pinched look

Thanks guys. Although I did notice that around his behind area, he's got a lump. And it's more obvious on the left side then the right. =( I don't know how good that is, and it's more noticeable after he's gone to the bathroom. Is it possible that it's the dead worms? Or is it indicative of something else? = /

Only time will tell, keep an eye on it. Puffers can easily look lumpy since they have no ribs.

Good to know. Thank you. Sorry guys. I'm a worry wort, if you haven't been able to tell already. And since this is my first puff, there is still lots I don't know. Hopefully, this turns out to be a great learning experience and will turn to be a very rewarding one when PZ gets healthy and I get my F8 =)

Well done getting your puff well again. As seven said keep an eye on that lump as it could be nothing and may well disappear. If he's been constipated he may have a sore bottom
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

Thanks all!! Sorry for the lack of updates: We had a gas scare (they were afraid of another San Bruno) that required us to leave our apartments (PZ..eek!) and not come back until we were told to. Then today our only running car broke down :durr:

So, PZ has been eating the medicated worms (they soaked over night in the med and garlic mix, then I dumped half of that out [he wasn't eating them] and put some water in them and they have been inn that concoction) but he seems to be super skinny still and his tail fin is still cramped...the ammonia was a little high (I was gone for a night and day and therefor late on a wc. I did add some extra bws in there cause I didn't know how long I was going to be gone), so I did a wc and so far, so good. /scratches head. I am now at a loss. I am not sure what I should do or what I can do to make his skinniness go away? Maybe I am just being paranoid? I will try to link a pic to see what you guys thing. I am at a loss. Hope all has been relatively well.

Hope I am not doing anything or making anyone upset. So far, no one here has responded, so please, let me know if I have done something to irritate you all. I didn't mean too! Anyways, finally got Denzil to let me use his smug mug! Here are some pics of PZ. Please tell me what you think!

Before he eats:

After he eats:

Hopefully these are ok. He was much easier to take pics of after he ate...he was buzzing like a little bee when I was sitting there with the camera and didn't have any food! What do you all think? Does he look like a normal, healthy, not skinny puff? I am not sure, but he is still getting the medicated bws.

It takes time for them to put on weight. Continue treating him. If you do have to leave him again, don't overfeed before you go, just feed regular so the ammonia doesn't rise again. I thought I had replied to this already :/

It's ok =) I just thought I had done something to make people angry. Just wanted to make sure that if I did commit a faux pas, I was aware of it so I didn't do it again LoL. He's been treated for about a week right now...how long should I continue to treat him do you think? And it never occurred to me that he might be under weight........

Don't think we will have to leave again (Thank goodness!) it was scary. They wouldn't even let us in when we got home. I told the officer that he needed to let me in cause I had my two dogs in the apartment = / When we finally got in (they thought it was ok) we were then asked to leave almost an hour later. Craziness. Won't do that again. Sorry, I guess that is part of the learning process. ><
