Switched a few heaters around to be more effective. Now I just have one 500w titanium heater in my Fahaka tank. I had to make a new guard to accommodate the size.

Love it! One day i will go marine. Just routine maintenance for me. Also gonna start planning 3d backing
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

Re: What did you do with your tank today
I dug out my 6 gallon from my closet so I can start breeding Lola some snails, I'm tired of driving to petsmart every week! So I'm going to do that in a minute here, along with a water change for her.
I also bought some of the Tetra tablets for anti-parasite, going to soak her food in some of that and hope she eats it.

Water change on the betta tank as well as moving his tank to a different stand.
Set up a tank for some sort of frog or toad. Our backyard pool (which we haven't had running properly for a couple months now) is full of tadpoles and different frogs and toads.

Re: What did you do with your tank today
Water changes... 50% on the betta 10g, 30% on the planted shrimp 10g. Drained the tank I had my T. newberryi in (they all died off; time to do a new hatch). Fertilized the planted tank. Found some assassin snails in the betta tank and moved them to the planted tank.
"I will give you a talisman. Whenever you are in doubt, or when the self becomes too much with you, apply the following test. Recall the face of the poorest and the weakest man whom you may have seen, and ask yourself, if the step you contemplate is going to be of any use to him or her. Will she gain anything by it? Will it restore her to a control over her own life and destiny? In other words, will it lead to freedom for the hungry and spiritually starving millions? Then you will find your doubts and your self melt away."

Re: What did you do with your tank today
Sat here and looked at it. No routine maintenance or anything scheduled for today. This is my first saltwater tank and I'm surprised at how it seems to take care of itself better than freshwater does. Or maybe that's just my imagination?

Re: What did you do with your tank today
I cut some acrylic panels in preparation to make a new 30g tank. Not sure what I'm going to put in it yet, but I'm sure it will be something with the word puffer in it.
